The Green Bay Packers have big needs at tight end this offseason. As of now, the only two experienced players still on the roster are Josiah Deguara and Tyler Davis.
But there is another veteran option available if GM Brian Gutekunst is willing to spend a little bit of money this offseason and that player knows the team’s offense well. It’s veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis.
Yes, Lewis will turn 39 in May and he is nearing the end of a long and productive NFL career. The former UCLA star has spent the last five seasons in Green Bay and has started all 17 games for the club in each of the last two seasons.
