Brett Goode’s Reign of Terror will Continue

The Green Bay Packers have been trying to give their long snapper job to someone other than Brett Goode for the past two years.

They have again failed to do so.

This year, the guy was supposed to be Derek Hart, but the Packers released him on Monday.

Hart’s biggest failure was during Family Night, when kicker Mason Crosby missed more field goals than he made. That seemingly prompted the Packers to bring back Goode — their long snapper for the past nine seasons — two weeks ago.

Hart and Goode were supposedly in an open competition, but the writing was on the wall when the Packers re-signed Goode.
