Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre had some interesting comments about the end of his time with the team. Favre spoke to Jason Wilde of the Wisconsin State Journal about the Packers decision to draft Jordan Love, which brought up the conversation of the team drafting Aaron Rodgers to replace him.
Only a month or so after the 2007 season ended, Favre decided to tell coach Mike McCarthy he was hanging up the cleats and stepping away from the game of football.
However, Favre thinks he should’ve made a different decision on how he approached the situation:
““If I could go back and do things differently, I certainly would,” said Favre, whose overtime interception against the Giants turned out to be his last pass with the Packers.
