The more Brett Favre talks about his relationship with the Green Bay Packers, the more it’s clear how much the events of July 18, 2015 meant to him.
As Favre made the rounds at the Super Bowl this week in advance of Saturday’s voting for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, time and again he spoke of the event last summer when he was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame, had his No. 4 retired and was cheered by nearly 70,000 fans who paid to see Favre walk onto the field and address the crowd before fans watched the ceremony on the stadium video boards.
