Already among the best players to ever wear a Green Bay Packers’ uniform, now Brett Favre and Jordy Nelson have been honored as among the best in the state of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame inducted Favre and Nelson during a banquet at Lac La Belle Golf Club in Oconomowoc on Friday, August 21. Donald Driver, the all-time leading receiver in Packers history, emceed the event as Favre and Nelson became the 144th and 145th inductees. The prestigious list includes Vince Lombardi, Charles Woodson, Bart Starr, Hank Aaron, among others.
Viewers in the Green Bay area can tune in to Local 5 on Saturday, September 12 for a presentation on the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame’s 70th anniversary.
