Brace Yourselves, Regression is coming
Through five weeks of the 2016 season, many of the leading scorers in IDP are pass rushers as sack numbers are way up from years past. While extrapolating small sample sizes over a full season can be used dangerously, it also can show likely regression of certain stats such as touchdowns for offense and sacks for defense. Below I have extrapolated sacks this season over a 16 game season, to see how it compared to the past five years and the findings are clear, regression is incoming.
