GREEN BAY – Halftime of Packers games at Lambeau Field this season will feature a new piece of entertainment, and the competition should be fun to watch.
In 2015, the Packers are introducing the QB Challenge, a passing contest that will feature quarterbacks and receivers from rival Wisconsin high schools.
The first competition, slated for halftime of Saturday’s preseason game vs. Philadelphia, pits Rice Lake vs. Superior, two schools that are rivals in the Big Rivers Conference and certified as Heads Up Football programs for 2015.
Rice Lake lost to conference champ Superior last year but then advanced to the Division 3 state title game before falling to Wisconsin Lutheran to finish with a 10-4 record.
