The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their 2023 season opener against the Green Bay Packers, where Chicago is looking to snap their eight-game losing streak against Green Bay.
Wide receivers Velus Jones Jr. and Equanimeous St. Brown are two notable healthy scratches. With Jones sidelined, rookie Tyler Scott could be in line for kickoff returns with newcomer Trent Taylor fielding punts.
Rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent is also inactive, which means Nathan Peterman is officially the backup quarterback. With Bagent being inactive, he’s officially the team’s emergency quarterback, as he’s on the 53-man roster.
