GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Ward and Green Bay Packers running back Kylin Hill were both carted off the field after a violent collision on a kickoff in the third quarter of Thursday night's game at State Farm Stadium.
Ward suffered a neck injury and was being evaluated for a concussion. He was able to move all his extremities, according to a press box announcement. Ward was strapped to a back board with his head and neck stabilized before leaving the field on a cart.
Hill suffered a knee injury and was sitting upright on the cart as it drove him to off the playing surface.
