MINNEAPOLIS -- Two fourth-quarter decisions in span of 10 days might end up telling the story of the Green Bay Packers' 2018 season.
It could at least help write the ending.
One week, coach Mike McCarthy punts on fourth-and-2 from his own 33-yard line with 4:20 left down 3 points at Seattle.
One game later, he goes for it on fourth-and-1 from his own 44 midway through the third quarter of a 14-14 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Neither one worked.
In Seattle, McCarthy said: "We played the numbers.
