GREEN BAY - Happy Mason Crosby day to those who celebrate. The longtime Green Bay Packers kicker called it a career Friday.
It was announced Wednesday that Crosby would retire from the NFL as a member of the Packers. He spent 16 seasons in Green Bay from 2007 to 2022.
"Retiring as a Packer is my way of saying that even though I may now live in another state, I am still that ambassador," Crosby said in a message posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). "But now instead of you cheering me on, it is my turn to champion and celebrate what all is being accomplished in Wisconsin.
