After ‘humbling’ year, Mike Daniels says he has ‘so much more to offer’ if Packers bring him back

GREEN BAY — Mike Daniels was there in 2015 when the Green Bay Packers brought wide receiver James Jones back. He was there in 2018 when they brought defensive back Tramon Williams back.

Now, the ex-Packers Pro Bowl defensive tackle would love to be there when the Packers bring … well, him back in 2020.

Unsigned after his one-year deal with the Detroit Lions expired after the season, Daniels has been working out on his own at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, waiting for NFL facilities to re-open so he — and a host of other still-unsigned veterans with lingering injury questions — can get back on a roster and get back to work.
