After awful quarter, Packers defense turns it on

Detroit — In the middle of the celebratory fracas, with the visitors' locker room drenched in smiles, sweat and serendipitous relief, the president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers stopped Micah Hyde on his way back from the shower.

Bubbling with ebullience, Mark Murphy had a simple question for Hyde, a member of the defense whose resurrection during the final three quarters enabled an ending this storied franchise will never forget. And Murphy, whose press box celebration minutes before might have tested his vertical leap, unfurled the words through a boyish grin.

"Have you ever been part of a game like that," Murphy said, perhaps already aware of the answer.
