Abbrederis, who appears like he’ll face a tough task even making the Green Bay Packers roster, has been sidelined for a month. In that time, he’s seen Jeff Janis and, mostly likely, Myles White surpass him for a roster spot.
The good news for the Packers is that, now when they cut Abbrederis, they don’t have to pay him an injury settlement or wait six weeks to re-sign him. The most likely scenario is Abbrederis is released on final cuts and becomes a member of the practice squad.
Also returning to practice were three offensive linemen.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari has been out for two weeks with a knee injury.
