Aaron Rodgers wins 4th MVP Award

GREEN BAY, Wis. —

After a season surrounded by controversy, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has just won his fourth MVP Award.

Rodgers, 38, led the team to a 13-4 record and a No. 1 seed in the NFC but couldn't beat the 49ers in the NFC Divisional playoff round.

The quarterback passed for 4,115 yards and had 37 passing touchdowns.

Rodgers' passer rating was 111.9. He only threw four interceptions.

Before the season began, there was wide speculation on whether Rodgers would return to the team.

He didn't participate in organized team activities in May and instead was seen singing karaoke in Hawaii with fiancée Shailene Woodley.
