GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers appears to have scored a new fan during his recent trip to India.
The two-time MVP quarterback joyfully presented a Packers hat and NFL football to the Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamsala, HP, India, according to a photo posted on the 82-year-old Tibetan Buddhist leader’s Instagram account Tuesday.
Rodgers and his girlfriend, race car driver Danica Patrick, are on a mission trip to India in support of Starkey Hearing Foundation, which provides hearing aids to those around the world without access to them otherwise.
Rodgers missed nine games last season due to a broken collarbone but told packers.
