GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers thanked those who put him down as a write-in candidate for president -- yes, apparently at least one person on Twitter told him that he did -- but the reason he stayed up late Tuesday wasn’t to await his vote total. The Green Bay Packers quarterback wanted to see how what he called an “historic night” would unfold.
“You have an outsider winning or the first woman to be president,” Rodgers said Wednesday. “So I thought it was an important night to our country and really a message to the establishment, if you’re looking at it from an objective point of view.
