Aaron Rodgers is hopeful the NFL can find a way to safely have fans in stadiums this season and said playing without them would be “really strange.”
During a Facebook chat this week with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, the Green Bay Packers quarterback was asked about the possibility of NFL games played to empty stands due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“I think it would be really strange," he said. "I understand the state of the country for sure, but there’s something special about Lambeau Field."
He talked about how ingrained the team’s history is in the city and the impact of Packers fans on the community.
