Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers was looking forward to saying hello to Brian Hoyer after the Patriots visit the Packers on Sunday.
The two met at Churchill Downs when Hoyer was part of Tom Brady’s annual trip to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby.
“I know Brian from being around the Derby crew when he goes with Tom,” Rodgers said. “I really like Brian. He’s a good dude.”
Rodgers and Hoyer could likely be starting against each other on Sunday. While Patriots starter Mac Jones is still hoping to play Sunday, his injured ankle makes it likely Hoyer will be under center.
