GREEN BAY, Wis. -- When we last saw Aaron Ripkowski, he was in a quiet locker room at the Georgia Dome trying to explain what happened on his second-quarter fumble in the NFC Championship Game.
He ran his hands through his thick red beard and took responsibility for a miscue that could have kept the Green Bay Packers' loss to the Atlanta Falcons from getting out of hand early on.
Nearly three months later, Ripkowski’s beard was gone, but the memory of his fumble lingered.
The beard will return.
