It's a good thing the Green Bay Packers have a day off from training camp practices on Friday, Aug. 4.
But even if they didn't, Aaron Jones would have had a good excuse if he missed that day.
He'll be competing for a cornhole championship.
The Packers' dynamic running back advanced to the Superhole IV Championship as part of the ACL World Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina, after winning a two-round preliminary tournament Friday night at Summerfest.
Jones and his partner, professional Yetty Irwan, beat former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Spice Adams and his pro partner David Morse in one semifinal and then in the title match topped WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia and her pro partner Eric Zocklein.
