-- The Green Bay Packers will be without their second-leading rusher from 2017 for the first two games to open the regular season.
The NFL docked Aaron Jones, one of the team's fifth-round draft picks last year, with a two-game suspension in a flurry of pre-Independence Day disciplinary measures taken by the league.
Jones' suspension stems from a citation issued to him at a traffic stop in October of last year.
According to reports, Jones was operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in his system, operating said vehicle without a license and speeding.
