The AAF continues on into its third week this weekend, staying afloat in part thanks to a $250 million investment from Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon last week. The league’s interest continues to be strong, however, drawing respectable ratings numbers in week two.
Last week was a big one for former Packers in the AAF. San Antonio Commanders defenders Joey Mbu and Jayrone Elliott combined for a sack-fumble returned for a touchdown, Orlando Apollos wideout Charles Johnson had over 190 receiving yards and a score, and Salt Lake Stallioins running back Joel Bouagnon rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown as well.
