The Green Bay Packers organization now has 28 members of its franchise enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Canton, Ohio. Safety LeRoy Butler was announced as one of the five modern-era inductees last year at the NFL Honors presentation and was inducted in August.
Before the Super Bowl, a new class of inductees will get announced, and that class will almost certainly include former Brookfield Central standout Joe Thomas, who fashioned a remarkable 11-year career with the Cleveland Browns at left tackle.
In addition to those 28, there are a number of players who briefly saw time with the Packers who are in the Hall of Fame, plus some other Wisconsin connections.
