A 23-year losing streak for the Lions

It's the longest home-winning streak against an opponent in National Football League regular-season history. And it began on a cold, snow-covered Milwaukee County Stadium field on Dec. 6, 1992.

Ron Wolf, former Packers general manager, still marvels at Green Bay's domination of division rival Detroit on Wisconsin soil for 23 consecutive seasons. The Packers will try to make it No. 24 on Sunday.

"You need a lot of luck to win that many in a row," Wolf said Monday. "I mean, that's mind boggling, really. You think the law of averages would come into play. It's an amazing streak against a rival.
