The Green Bay Packers agreed to terms with cornerback Nate Hobbs on a four-year deal on Monday, the first day of the legal tampering period in the NFL.
Hobbs, a 2021 fifth-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders, had an excellent rookie season but has battled through injuries the last three seasons, not unlike former Packers first-round pick Eric Stokes. Hobbs never dealt with as significant and career-altering as Stokes, but he has missed at least four games in three straight seasons. The injuries are at least part of the reason why Hobbs was available.
