Every year, there's one game where injuries compile for the Houston Texans and lead to a loss.
That came Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Houston was without five defensive starters, but the offense produced the second-lowest output of the C.J. Stroud era and fell 24-22.
The loss drops Houston to 5-2, with both losses coming against NFC North foes on the road. Around the AFC South, Indianapolis won a slugfest against Miami and improved to 4-3, narrowing Houston's divisional lead to one game.
The Texans could secure the season sweep over the Colts next week lead next week when they return to NRG Stadium at noon.
