The San Francisco 49ers will have a new starting left guard next season after Aaron Banks agreed to a massive new contract with the Green Bay Packers.
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport on Monday reported Banks and the Packers agreed on a four-year deal worth up to $77 million. It appeared likely Banks would be gone after four years with the 49ers, but any chance went out the window when his market commanded $77 million.
Banks was a second-round pick by the 49ers in the 2021 NFL draft out of Notre Dame.
