Green Bay Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst enters his first offseason with the team and will be pulling the trigger on many of the important decisions that have fallen at the hands of his predecessor, Ted Thompson, for the past decade plus.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, Gutekunst said that he hopes that the Packers can be in many conversations as far as free agency goes. Obviously, there are financial limitations and we have yet to see how quarterback Aaron Rodgers' new contract extension will look like over the next few seasons.
Last season, the Packers added five veteran free agents under Thompson's direction.
