The Green Bay Packers are tied with the Minnesota Vikings atop the NFC North at 8-4, with a tiebreaker in hand which currently gives them the nudge. Will they hold off the young Vikings and secure a division title? Here's our projections for the final four regular season games of the 2015 campaign.
Dallas Cowboys (December 13th)
No Tony Romo, no dice for the Cowboys. When he's been out, the Cowboys have played at sub-Jacksonville Jaguars levels. When he's in, they're a legit contender. So, as we said -- say good night to Dallas in what'll be an Aaron Rodgers showcase game.
Win: 33-7 (9-4)
@ Oakland Raiders (December 20th)
The Raiders have faded something fierce after a heartening 4-4 start, losing three of their last four games. Oakland's been shooting themselves in the foot on offense, including a flurry of three quick turnovers which turned around their fortunes in a 34-20 loss to Kansas City last week. We expect that trend to continue, and Green Bay to take advantage.
Win: 27-14 (10-4)
Arizona Cardinals (December 27th)
The Cardinals are a machine right now. They're pretty much the most balanced offensive/defensive juggernaut around, and they've got the type of athletes on both sides of the ball which give the Packers fits. The Packers will keep it close, but the Cardinals will bully their way to a win late.
Loss: 33-27 (10-5)
Minnesota Vikings (January 3rd)
This will be a de facto NFC North title game, with the Packers at 10-5 and Minnesota at either 10-5 or 9-6. We're taking Aaron Rodgers over Teddy Bridgewater at Lambeau in January, full stop. Adrian Peterson won't have enough juice in Week 17 to stop the inevitable.
Win: 33-17 (11-5)
Final Outlook:
The Packers will secure the third seed, facing an upstart Tampa Bay Bucs squad at home in the NFC Wild Card round.
