Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph had nothing but great thing to say about the return of Adrian Peterson to voluntary workouts, even going so far to suggest that his absence last year could have been the difference between a 7-9 mark and a winning record.
"I know (his absence meant) more than a victory or two, that's for sure," Rudolph said, via Charley Walters of the Pioneer Press. "He does so much more than what you guys see on the field, the leadership that he has, the way that guys around him tend to work because they see the way that he works."
Rudolph adds that he noticed a surge of energy amongst his teammates when Peterson arrived.
"Right away," Rudolph said. "Guys seemed a little more excited, guys seem to have a little more pep in their step when you see him running around back there. It looks like he never left."
