Two players who took the stage of Lambeau Field by storm will be taking a much different stage in the coming days. Current wide receiver Randall Cobb, and former running back Ahman Green will be shining in a spotlight quite unlike anything either has done before. As part of a celebration called #BroadwayBlitz, Cobb, Green and Lions running back Joique Bell will appear in a series of performances of the Broadway hit Rock of Ages.
Rock of Ages is a critically acclaimed musical directed by Kristin Hanggi that features rock hits of the 1980s in a story about L.A. show business.
Cobb will be making his Broadway debut on January 28, followed by Bell on the January 29, and Green will appear in the matinee performance on February 1.
In case you were wondering, none of the three majored in theater in college, and the closest experience any of them have had to a Broadway production was Green's appearance as Diamond King in the movie Big Stan.
The only evidence I could find of any of them singing was this Youtube video of Cobb singing his Alma mater's fight song.

It's unlikely Cobb will be quitting his day job any time soon.
