The Green Bay Packers' 17th annual search for their biggest and most spirited fan will begin on Saturday, November 1st.
According to the team's official website, "fans are asked to nominate themselves, a relative or friend for the honor of being the 17th member of the Packers FAN Hall of Fame with an essay of 500 words or less, describing the merits of the nominee. Each nomination should be accompanied by a photo. The nomination period will remain open until Saturday, Nov. 29."
The top 10 finalists will be chosen in December by the Packers FAN Hall of Fame selection committee. The last round of voting will take place from January 1st through January 30th of 2015.
Per the team's website, "during the voting process, Packers fans will be asked to vote for one of the 10 finalists, whose stories will be profiled on Packers.com. The winner will be selected by three different groups of people: Fans (50 percent), the Packers’ committee (30 percent) and previous honoree votes (20 percent)."
