Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy squared off with two foes during Sunday's road victory over the Minnesota Vikings, battling both Vikings defenders and a major stomach illness.
Lacy finished the team's win despite feeling extremely under the weather. Therefore, it's no real surprise that he wasn't listed on the team's Wednesday injury report.
In fact, Lacy expects it to business as usual when the turkey and stuffing hit the table on Thanksgiving.
"Yeah, I'll eat a little bit,' Lacy said.
Despite his sickness, Lacy ran for a season-high 125 yards on 25 carries against Minnesota, while also playing a key role in helping the team drain the game's final 3:23 without handing the ball back to the Vikings.
"It was tough a little bit, but I don't think I did anything differently than any other one of my teammates would've done if they were feeling the same way, if they were able to go out and still play," Lacy said. "The game, I didn't know I was getting 25 carries going into it, but being able to battle that and just continue to contribute positively definitely helped."
