Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was added to the team's injury report on Thursday with knee soreness, and he was a limited participant in practice as he nursed the injury.
However, head coach Mike McCarthy didn't seem too concerned about Lacy's prospects for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seattle Seahawks.
“Eddie Lacy’s knee is sore. I pulled him in about the middle of practice,” McCarthy said, via Packers.com. “I think Eddie will be ready to go on Sunday. The coach is nervous.”
McCarthy also addressed quarterback Aaron Rodgers' calf injury which once again limited his work in practice on Thursday.
“Aaron Rodgers participated in the second part of practice, went through pass under pressure and went through two team periods,” McCarthy revealed. “He’s getting ready to play.”
Rodgers suffered his calf injury in the team's Week 16 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has played through it ever since.
