Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy has been voted NFL Rookie of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association of America.
Lacy carried the ball 284 times this season, racking up 1178 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Green Bay achieved an 8-7-1 record this year and made the playoffs despite a long layoff for QB Aaron Rodgers, who broke his collarbone midway through the year. Green Bay ultimately lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round, falling 23-20 despite 81 rushing yards from Lacy.
Green Bay finished 2013 7th in the NFL in rushing offense, with 133.5 yards per game.
