One of the top needs for the Green Bay Packers in this year's NFL draft is running back. The Packers can probably get by with a combo of Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael, but another draft pick would help. If the Packers elect to target a running back in the first few rounds, there are a few notable players they could take.
This list only includes realistic options. As great as it would be to land Leonard Fournette, that's not going to happen. While there are more than just the four options, these are some of the top realistic ones. With that in mind, here are four RBs the Packers could target in the NFL Draft.
1. Dalvin Cook, Florida State
For much of the pre-draft process, the assumption was that Cook would be off the board before the Packers even had a chance to pick. But now the buzz is that Cook will fall out of the first round entirely. There are shoulder injury concerns, a bad combine, a fumbling issue and worst of all, off-the-field worries. I think there's a good chance Cook does end up falling out of the first round and that the Packers might even pass on him in the first. Still, it's an option worth considering.
2. Alvin Kamara, Tennessee
Kamara is looking like a likely Day 2 selection and there's a chance he doesn't even last to the Packers' pick in round two. But if he does, it'd be a quality pick. Kamara fits the mold of what Ted Thompson looks for in a back and he'd play plenty early. He didn't get a ton of carries at Tennessee, in part because of the presence of Jalen Hurd, but he's a potential three-down back. Worst case, Kamara is going to make a really good 3rd down back. There's some Jamaal Charles in his game.

3. Marlon Mack, South Florida
Mack was one of the better players in college football last year that most hadn't heard of. He measures out similarly to Jordan Howard, who was amazing for the Bears last year. If the Packers are looking for a Round 3 or maybe Round 4 option at running back, Mack is a prime candidate. He'd be a good fit in the Packers offense.
4. Brian Hill, Wyoming
As pointed out by Justis Mosqueda, Hill actually fits all the traits the Packers look for in a RB. Hill is a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick, a move which would allow the Packers to focus on defense early. He was really good at Wyoming and has a good size/speed combo, weight 219 pounds with a 4.54 40-yard dash.
