The Green Bay Packers are 5-0 and looking to add another win at home against the 2-3 San Diego Chargers this weekend. The Packers are favored by 10 points, as they should be. Here are three reasons why the Packers are GUARANTEED to beat the Chargers.
Turnover Differential
The Packers have the fifth best turnover differential in the NFL. They've given the ball away only four times, while taking it away nine times. The Chargers, however, are one of several teams tied for 20th in turnover differential. They've forced seven turnovers, while coughing it up 10 times. Those numbers indicate that the Packers will win the turnover battle again this week and win the game as well.
Better Ground Game
The Packers and Chargers both have great QBs, but only one team has a running game to pair with the air attack. Eddie Lacy and the Packers' ground game rank ninth in running yards per game. The Chargers, despite spending a first round pick on Melvin Gordon and getting Danny Woodhead back, are tied for 24th in the NFL. The Chargers have leaned too heavily on the passing game, which will be their downfall this week.
Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL (sorry Brady) and he's a huge reason why the Packers are undefeated. He's completing 70 percent of his passes and he only has one 300 yard game this season. He's not posting the absurd numbers we all know he can, but with Rodgers at the helm, the Packers won't lose this game.
