Even after losing fantasy football stud Jordy Nelson, the Green Bay Packers are still the class of the NFC North. They've got a great quarterback, running back and a few wide receivers. Having several Packers on your fantasy team isn't a bad thing.
Quarterback:
Aaron Rodgers
He's the best fantasy QB, even without Nelson. Still, don't take him until the start of the third round. It's best to wait for quarterbacks in standard fantasy drafts, even if that means missing out on Rodgers.
Running Back:
Eddie Lacy
Lacy is a stud and a safe pick. I have him No. 2 overall behind only Adrian Peterson, but I won't argue if you want to draft Lacy first overall.
James Starks
He doesn't get enough carries to justify being anything more than a handcuff for Lacy.
Wide Receiver:
Randall Cobb
With Nelson out for the season, Cobb jumps to just outside the Top 5 WRs. He's worth a late second round pick.
Davante Adams
A trendy sleeper pick before Nelson was injured, Adams' value now skyrockets. Draft him like he's a Top 20 WR.
Ty Montgomery
Montgomery will compete for the No. 3 WR role. He's worth spending a late round pick on in deeper leagues.
Jeff Janis
See above and substitute "Janis" for "Montgomery."
Tight End:
Richard Rodgers
Rodgers has potential, especially now that Nelson is out. However, he's best left on the waiver wire until he proves himself.
