Spencer supplied nine of those treys to break the school record, and Tennessee's point total set a Southeastern Conference record. Talaysia Cooper finished with 21 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals in 18 minutes for Tennessee (8-0), which entered the nonconference matchup third in Division I in scoring at 92.
