Lauren Betts scored 33 points and No. 1 UCLA stayed undefeated by handling No. 8 Maryland 82-67 on Sunday afternoon in College Park, Md. Betts shot 14-for-15 from the field and made five of six free-throw attempts to go with a team-high seven rebounds. Kiki Rice added 19 points for the Bruins (20-0, 8-0 Big Ten), who shot 54.5 percent from the field to help overcome 17 turnovers. Maryland (16-4, 6-3), which has lost three games in a row, had 18 turnovers. Saylor Poffenbarger providing a team-high 18 points, Mir McLean posted 12 points off the bench and Sarah Te-Biasu and Kaylene Smikle both had 11 points for the Terrapins, who were in their fourth consecutive game against a ranked opponent.
