Gonzaga (4-3) overcame a slow start to defeat Portland State (3-5) 91-52 inside the McCarthey Athletic Center on Saturday.
Emma Stach opened the afternoon's scoring for the Zags, hitting a 3-pointer in the right corner off a feed from Zykera Rice. Saturday was full of season and career highs for various women, most notably Chandler Smith, who fell two assists shy of a triple-double, ending with ten points and career highs in both rebounds (10) and assists (8).
The Zags move to 7-0 against PSU inside the McCarthey Athletic Center, dating back to its opening in 2004.
