Wisconsin early enrollee Aron Cruickshank saves his best for last during Badgers' final spring practice

In a spring where he turned heads from the start, University of Wisconsin early enrollee Aron Cruickshank ended it with a bang.

The wide receiver unofficially caught six passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the Badgers' full-contact scrimmage Friday during UW's final spring practice.

"Aron was good," UW coach Paul Chryst said after the scrimmage. "He made some plays, and he's had a good spring. I think he's starting to feel more comfortable with what we're doing and what he's doing. But captain obvious could have made that call."

The 5-foot-9, 152-pound Cruickshank caught touchdowns of 30 and 53 yards and left cornerback Donte Burton in the dust for a 48-yard catch that set up a 4-yard touchdown to tight end Jake Ferguson.
