The University of Wisconsin football team began building a strong 2019 recruiting class in recent months, but that fast start took a hit Saturday.
Safety Bryson Shaw announced via Twitter that he’s flipping his commitment from UW to Ohio State. The Potomac, Md., native cited personal family matters that led to a desire to stay closer to home.
“After many talks with my family, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to switch my commitment from Wisconsin to The Ohio State,” Shaw tweeted. “Personal family matters have called for me to be closer to home.
