ForwardKiara Kudron and guardGeorgia Stirton both talked about turnovers during their respective media sessions.
“I think we really have to cut down on our turnovers,” said Kudron.
A few minutes later, Stirton was discussing the win and the three-game skid before that.
“Turnovers have been an issue for us in the last few games, so just taking care of the ball has really been a focus as well,” she said.
In five of their seven losses this season, the Zags have committed more turnovers than their opponent, but head coach Lisa Fortier said she believes the team is progressing nicely and learning how to protect the ball better, among other improvements.
