Usher will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, the NFL announced Sunday.
The game will be played Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium.
"Usher is an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape throughout his career. We couldn't be more excited to have him headline this year's Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show," Seth Dudowsky, the head of music for the NFL, said in a statement.
Usher has had nine No. 1 hits and 18 in the top 10 on the Billboard music charts since 1997. The 44-year-old is an eight-time Grammy Award winner.
