The NFL doesn't have a clear anthem policy — but what about the Bears?

BOURBONNAIS — As the Chicago Bears wrapped up training-camp practice No. 10 on Tuesday, head coach Matt Nagy explained why he thinks his club has reached its first turning point of the preseason.

“There was a few mistakes offensively where you can see the ball on the ground," Nagy said. "A little sloppy there, but some of that, to tell you the truth, is a little bit expected. We’re in the middle of it right now, and I think everybody, without saying it, is ready for a new challenge in regards to the preseason and playing Baltimore.”

The bottom line is Nagy’s Bears are ready to hit someone other than their own teammates and that means new challenges for the rookie head coach as he faces his first game situation in the NFL’s Hall of Fame Game Thursday night in Canton, Ohio.
