The Texas A&M football team won four games last season by a touchdown or less, including a pair in overtime, none bigger than the 74-72 victory over LSU in seven overtimes to end the regular season.
The Aggies spent a lot of practice time Saturday afternoon working on situational plays that this year’s team will have to execute to win those type of games.
“That’s how you win games is situational football,” A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said. “Whether it’s third down, whether it’s 4 minutes on the clock, 2 minutes on the clock, 1 minute on the clock, 2-point play, whatever you gotta do, we gotta keep getting better in that.
