Coming off of a statement win on Monday, Gonzaga (1-0) will host Arizona State (2-0) in the Kennel for their home opener on Sunday, providing a golden opportunity for GU to potentially start 2-0 and position itself for a top-five AP ranking.
GU’s regular season couldn’t have started any better. The Zags opened their nonconference slate with a stunning 101-63 blowout victory over 8th-ranked Baylor, quickly establishing themselves as potential national title contenders early on.
Offensively, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly how GU will choose to attack ASU, simply because of the variety of weapons that GU coach Mark Few has at his disposal.
