Andy Toelken could not have asked for a much better start to get him back on track.
The senior right-hander, tagged for nine runs across 8 u2153 innings in his first two starts, proved Sunday that his future in fact lies in Missouri's weekend rotation.
Toelken delivered 6 u2153 scoreless innings, scattered six hits and struck out five as Missouri (10-3) shut out Maryland-Baltimore County (1-6) on Sunday, 5-0, for the Tigers' fifth straight win.
"We need three solid starters every single weekend," coach Steve Bieser said.
Toelken showed on Sunday he can be counted on to be one.
